Link Shoots his hookshot forward, and grabs opponents with it. In later games, the hookshot does what it does in the zelda games, and grabs the stage. Link's grab is one of the three tether grabs in the game, alons with samus' and Yoshi's. Link has the furthest grab in the game. It is the second slowest in the game though. It comes out on frame 17, stays for 11 frames, and has 55 frames of cool down (the second most, behind samus)

Link shoots his Hookshot forward, and grabs opponents with it. Link's is one of three characters in the game to possess a tether grab, along with Samus and Yoshi. Link has the furthest reaching grab in the game, but it is also the second slowest, behind Samus'. It comes out on frame 17, stays for 11 frames, and has 55 frames of cool down.
