Capcom Co., Ltd. (株式会社カプコン, Kabushiki-gaisha Kapukon) is a Japanese video game developer and publisher. Headquartered in Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan, the company is famous for many video game series, most notably the Street Fighter, Mega Man, and Resident Evil series. Originally established in 1983, Capcom has grown into a multinational company with subsidiaries and branches in East Asia, North America, and Europe.
