::'Kay, so I just did a little testing of my own on 3DS 1.1.4. Rest Bowser from the starting position on FD, and you usually get 57% damage. But do the same on Battlefield, and you tend to get 55%. Probably it's affected by how the CPU moves in response to being hit, or something like that. (Of course, you won't do as much damage in a real match anyway, since the opponent will shake it off quicker.)
