The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

DireVulcan is an American professional smasher who lives in New York state and generally attends any tournaments in the area. He uses a wide variety of characters, typically ones that are not expected to win. He is known for his mindgames and an un-canny knack for catching the "9-hammer" consistently in tournament, once catching it back to back in a now infamous 4 stock in the final match against Virginia Falco player Nick in Grand Finals.
Dire's primary claim to fame within the Smash community came about as a result of his Mr. Game & Watch play, though he has also written a guide to Mario, and next to Fumi the best Yoshi player, being extremely technical with him.
Dire has recently retired Mr. Game & Watch locally, and now plays Yoshi in New York.
