Madama Butterfly, Mistress of Atrocity, is a Demoness from the Bayonetta series. She serve's as Bayonetta's primary contracted demon partner. She, in exchange for Bayonetta's soul upon her death, grants Bayonetta her immense size and strength to aid her in battle. It is because of her Pack with Madama Butterfly, Bayonetta is capable of performing wicked weaves, witch walk, and even grants Bayonetta temporary use of her wings when double jumping.

In Super Smash Bros. 4

Madama butterfly is the primary source of Bayonetta's Smash attacks. She grants Bayonetta use of her wings when double jumping, and Bayonetta's shadow takes on the form of Madama Butterflies, as it does in the main Bayonetta series games. This represents the contract Bayonetta has with Madama Butterfly, to serve as a daily reminder that her soul is destined to belong to the Demoness when she dies.
