How to Play is an instructional movie in Super Smash Bros. 4 that is intended to teach beginners basic techniques on how to play the game. It shows Mario and Bowser fighting on Battlefield Ω.
Basic techniques taught in the video
- Walking and running
- Jumping
- Performing standard attacks (neutral attacks), strong attacks (tilts), and smash attacks with the Attack button
- Recovery
- Using special moves with the "Special" button
- Shielding
- Rolling
- Dodging
- Grabbing
- Activating a Final Smash with the "Special" button
