Mewostic (ニャオニクス, Nyaonix) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Dream. It was confirmed on January 14th, 2016 by Apihedron, designed to represent Gen VI in a unique way. It is the fifth Pokémon newcomer for Super Smash Bros. Dream, after Nidoking, Pokémon Ranger, Youngster Joey, and Wes. It is voiced by TBD in Super Smash Bros. Dream.

Mewostic's playstyle largely depends on which costume is use. If a male costume is used, Meowstic's playstyle is more defensive, focusing on evasion, zoning, and punishing at the right time. If a female costume is used, Meowstic boasts a more aggressive playstyle, forcing Mewostic to rush up close and take risks in order to overwhelm the opponent.
