:They were not paid, but the money they ''would have'' made was posted on the results thread (for Brawl, anyway; calculated in Melee's case), and it's info worth noting. In all of the linked articles it says Plank was unable to pay out any money, but next to the names of the Top 8 finishers, there are totals listed. Were the players paid, or not??
