I think the images currently in this category could be split in more specific categories. The ones I'm thinking of, which would take care of most of the images, are:
*Box art (possibly including promotional art like that DK picture)
*Screenshots from non-Smash Bros. games
124 files are a decently but not obscenely high number, so this recategorization shouldn't take that long. Would it be worth it, though? Other ideas/comments/possible categories? --[[User:Menshay|Menshay]] ([[User talk:Menshay|talk]]) 14:47, 17 November 2015 (EST) |

This category
Though I haven't looked through all the articles in this category, I don't think we really need this category. As I said in the Talk:Super Mario World page, articles summarizing additions to the Smash universe (or information irrelevant to any of the Smash games) could easily be explained in the character/stage/item/universe page itself, with a link to an appropriate Wikipedia article when necessary. I'm still somewhat new to the wiki scene, and I do appreciate the necessity of explanations, but this just seems redundant. WarxePB 02:36, September 8, 2007 (EDT)
