The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. The Indiana/Kentucky Power Rankings were rankings of the top 10 Brawl players (and 5 honorable mentions) in the Indiana/Kentucky region. It was started after the panelists on both sides decided that their own states' Brawl communities were too small for individual power rankings.[1] Following the growth of the Brawl community in the both states, Indiana and Kentucky now have their own separate power rankings, and the creators have no intention of updating these rankings.[2]

The IN/KY Commission

  • TheBlueBlade (Muncie, IN)
  • Count (Indianapolis, IN)
  • TylerBeyond (West Lafayette, IN)
  • Th3 Master Composer (Bloomington, IN)
  • Hilt (Louisville, KY)
  • Xisin (Morehead, KY)

Criteria of Power Ranking

  • While tournament placings were important, just as important (if not more so) were player matchups.
  • Over time, if one constantly places in the same spot, their movement will be limited, depending on who the smasher played against to warrant said placing.
  • The size of the tournaments was also a factor. Small local tournaments had little effect on placing, while large regional tournaments had a large impact on rankings.
  • Brackets > Pools > Money-Matches > Friendlies
