For the trophy, see Shy Guys (trophy)

Shy Guys (Japanese: ヘイホー, Heihoo) are found in the Yoshi's Story stage of Super Smash Bros. Melee. When a character attacks them they will continue floating or get hit off the screen. If items are turned on they will carry food items to the stage. They will drop the food if they are attacked. Shy Guys driving Go Karts also appear as Mute City-style hazards in Mario Circuit.

For every Shy Guy a character KO, they will be awarded 20 points to their Shy Guy KO bonus.
