The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

The '''Alabama Power Rankings''' are the power rankings for the state Alabama.
The '''Alabama Power Rankings''' is a system derived from KishPrime's Midwest Power Ranking system, and put into effect in the Alabama smash community. The point of it is to rank the top players of the state in order to create fair seedings at tournaments. The skill of the players is determined by the opinions of a core panel. The panel consists of players, who each rank players 1-10 according to their personal opinion. Each place is worth one point more than the next, meaning 1 is worth 10, and 10 is worth 1. Players who receive at least 3 votes are added to the list, and sorted by point totals. Periodically, panelists submit new ballots to keep the rankings updated.

Currently, there are only rankings for Super Smash Bros. Melee, with plans for Super Smash Bros. for Wii-U in the future.
