- New neutral aerial is slightly weaker.
- Old neutral aerial moved to forward aerial.
- Grab, pummel, and throws modified to utilize the Poltergust.

Pikachu
- Jump height increased.
- Quick Attack has been repurposed as a short, horizontal dash attack.

- Down smash now involves Kirby ringing two bells.
- Kirby now pummels opponents with a beach ball for his down throw, recalling his Circus ability from Triple Deluxe.
- Kirby's copy abilities now use his opponent's most well-known special move as opposed to simply their neutral special (for example, Link's copy ability grants Kirby Spin Attack).
- Final Smash is now Hypernova Kirby, an OHKO for opponents that get trapped in Kirby's automatic Inhale.
Donkey Kong
- Arcade DK is a new alternate costume, which has victory poses and an entrance animation that run at 15 FPS.
