The Yellow Wollywog appears in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U in two roles.

As a trophy

A frog-like creature from the Pikmin series with a strangely egg-shaped body. Though its legs are short and stubby, it is nevertheless capable of gigantic leaps, which prove deadly to any unfortunate Pikmin that happen to be nearby when it lands. Despite typically being found near water, it's not much of a swimmer.

In Smash Tour

In Smash Tour, Yellow Wollywog is a blue item. A player using Yellow Wollywog at the beginning of their turn will cause them to nullify any traps they walk across on the map, such as those set by other players using Tetra or Zinger.

Origin

Yellow Wollywogs are an enemy species found in all three Pikmin games, and a member of the Amphituber family. Generally dwelling near water, their main method of attacking is jumping into the air and crashing into the ground in an attempt to crush the player's Pikmin.
