The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

The Pitfall.
A Pitfall is an item from the Animal Crossing series. In the original game the pitfall was buried and if anyone stepped on it, the player or otherwise, they would fall into a hole and struggle for about 10 seconds before escaping. In Brawl, the pitfall can be thrown at the floor of platforms or the ground and it will then disappear. If a character steps on that ground afterward they will either fall through a thin platform or get stuck in the ground of a thicker platform. When characters are in the ground they look similar to being hit from Donkey Kong's Headbutt. The pitfall can also be thrown at opponents, resulting in them passing through or falling into the platform they're standing on.
