Dope is a top level Falco player, and a part of the ambiguously defined Michigan Crew. Ranked 9th on the final Smash Panel Power Rankings near the end of 2006.
Dope is one of the elite 5 players in the Midwest, also including Tink, Drephen, Vidjogamer, and Darkrain, that have dominated the Midwest since mid-2005. The players are so close in standing that rarely will any of them win consecutive tournaments, often knocking each other out.
Dope overcame a tough 2006 Midwest Circuit beginning, placing 9th and 17th in the first two events, to place 1st at Show Me Your Moves 6 and 2nd at Flame of Bowser 5 and rise in the Circuit rankings to second. In the Midwest Power Rankings, he had managed to maintain his number 1 ranking until the panel became inactive in Melee. He played in Brawl tournaments for a bit. In 2012 Dope began playing in a few Michigan Melee tournaments again.
