6WX is a Sonic main from Lansdale, Pennsylvania currently residing in Dublin, California and is considered to be one of the best SSB4 Sonic mains in the world (along with Komorikiri and StaticManny), as well as one of the best SSB4 players in the world, placing 4th in Apex 2015 as well as many other high placings in other large SSB4 tournaments, beating Dabuz's Rosalina & Luma as well as many other notable players. He is currently ranked 4th on the Tristate Smash 4 Power Rankings.
Humble Beginnings
6WX initially started as Sonic main in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, of which he was dubbed a "Wifi-Warrior". However, he saw very little to no success, most likely due to Sonic's weaknesses in that installment. As such, one has to conclude that he didn't place well, as there are no documented matches featuring 6WX.
Rise To Fame
Wesley's time to shine was in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, of which he debuted at KTAR XI, taking 9th place. From then on, 6WX began to earn his reputation by winning many minor tournaments and locals, to the point Nairo made a Facebook post regarding 6WX's rise. He would then make a strong appearance at Apex 2015, defeating many top players (such as MVD and Nietono) before losing to Dabuz's Rosalina. He also placed 9th in that tournament's doubles, with his partner ScaryLB59.
At Shots Fired, 6WX was defeated by Nairo's Zero Suit Samus in winner's finals, which sent him to loser's finals, where he lost to Ally's Mario, netting 3rd place. He placed slightly better in doubles, pulling 2nd place with his partner Nairo.
6WX returned for his second KTAR XI tournament, placing 4th place after begin eliminated by Dapuffster's Mii Brawler.
CEO 2015 is currently his weakest showing, as he placed a surprisingly low spot at 25th, after FATALITY's Captain Falcon pulled an upset on him.
