I literally just played Xenoblade Chronicles 3D right just to check again, pff. Anyway, when using Shadow Eye, Shulk crouches down with his left hand on the ground while holding the Monado downwards towards the ground. Meanwhile, the Vision pose makes him crouch in a different manner while drawing the Monado so that the weapon's glass circle covers his face. Basically comparison shows that Shadow Eye's pose is almost the same as the Speed art's pose. Unfortunately I don't have a reference picture but hopefully its enough evidence.
