The '''Battlefield''' (Japanese: 戦場, ''Ikusaba'') is a stage confirmed for ''[[SSBB]]''. It's basic design is very similar to its Gamecube counterpart, although it appears to be made up of natural elements like earth or rock, unlike the more architectural design of Melee's Battlefield. Also the thin ledges of the original have been modified and characters will most likely have a less difficult time [[sweet spot]]ting as before. - This article is about the Battlefield in its SSBB form. For the SSBM version, see Battlefield (SSBM). For the SSB version, see Fighting Polygon Stage.
The Battlefield (Japanese: 戦場, Ikusaba) is a stage confirmed for SSBB. It's basic design is very similar to its Gamecube counterpart, although it appears to be made up of natural elements like earth or rock, unlike the more architectural design of Melee's Battlefield. Also the thin ledges of the original have been modified and characters will most likely have a less difficult time sweet spotting as before. The stage has a day-and-night cycle, however, unlike Smashville, the cycle is not based on real time, but rather cycles between day and night very quickly.
The stage's music has been confirmed to be a remix of SSBM's menu theme, and can be heard on Super Smash Bros. Dojo!!.
