Big Blue is unlocked by playing 150 battles in VS Mode. It is also Captain Falcon's home stage.
Big Blue is an F-Zero themed stage featured in Melee. This stage is played on an F-Zero track when players have to use Captain Falcon's ship, F-Zero racers, and hovering objects as platforms. At other times there is no track under the racers and a fall at that time would result in death. The background scrolls incredibly fast and death upon hitting the track is nearly instantaneous. Items that float in mid-air (eg: flippers) are also affected by the stage's movement, scrolling left.

Announced at E3 2001, The battle starts off on Captain Falcon's ship, the Falcon Flyer. The ship will start flying towards the right of the screen after a few seconds. The battle then must move to the cars and the platforms floating above the road. Unlike Mute City, fighting on the cars will not damage your character. As everything is traveling towards the right side of the screen at great speeds, anything that lands on the track will shoot off the left side of the screen.

Big Blue is an F-Zero themed stage featured in Melee. This stage is played on an F-Zero track when players have to use Captain Falcon's ship, F-Zero racers, and hovering objects as platforms. If a player falls on the track beneath the racers the player will start speeding to the left and be KO'd unless the player quickly jumps back to safety. At other times there is no track under the racers and a fall at that time would result in death. The background scrolls incredibly fast and death upon hitting the track is nearly instantaneous. Items that float in mid-air (eg: flippers) are also affected by the stage's movement, scrolling left.

Trivia:

 • In Brawl, sonic can run on the ground of this course and survive if he is wearing a bunny hood.
