- At I'm Not Yelling!, Armada, Mango, and Leffen take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Melee singles, and MacD and Leffen win Melee doubles.

- A Nintendo Direct reveals that Mewtwo will be available in Super Smash Bros. 4 starting April 15th via the Club Nintendo promotion, or April 28th for purchase afterwards. In addition, Lucas is revealed to be in development, planned for a June release. Additional paid DLC costumes for the Mii Fighters will also be released on April 15th. A character ballot page has been added to the Smash official site, allowing players to suggest potential playable characters.
