The Mysterious Murasame Castle (謎の村雨城 Nazo no Murasamejo) universe refers to the characters, stages and property that come from the Famicom game The Mysterious Murasame Castle.

Franchise description

The game was one of the early games released for the Family Computer Disk System, and the second original title after The Legend of Zelda. Originally, the game was a Japan-only release for the Famicom. However, over 28 years after original release, the game was re-released worldwide through Virtual Console on the Nintendo 3DS.
