The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Beedrill (スピアー, Spear) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.
In Super Smash Bros.
As a Poké Ball Pokémon
Beedrill makes its first, and so far only, appearance in the Super Smash Bros. series as a Poké Ball Pokémon in Super Smash Bros. It uses the move Take Down; when Beedrill is summoned, a single Beedrill will fly off the screen. A couple of seconds later, a swarm of Beedrill will fly horizontally across the screen. Any character that makes contact with Beedrill will take damage, excluding the summoner.
Beedrill did nor return in any following game, but Unown in Melee attacks in a similar fashion.
Origin
Beedrill is a Bug/Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Kakuna at level 10, which evolves from Weedle at level 7. It also received a Mega Evolution in Generation VI.
Take Down is a Normal-type move with 90 base power and 85% accuracy which deals to the user 1/4 of the damage inflicted as recoil. Beedrill can learn it with TM09 only in the Generation I games.
