MISTRRLOVE is a Super Smash Bros. Melee player & commentator from Berlin, Germany. His main character of choice is Peach, however he also plays Fox. He has been an active member in the german SSBM community ever since 2006, when he first met his mentor, than main training partner & then best SSBM-player in Germany - Luma. He is part of the crew "Gurkenschieß Faein" which is considered to be one of the most dominant SSBM-crews in Germany, with him notoriously being able to upset considerably better players in crew matches.

History

MISTRRLOVE joined the Berlin local scene in 2006 when he first met Luma who would the become his main practice partner & mentor. Being a Kirby main originally he switched to Sheik when he wasn't able to overcome Dark_BROTOSS, an eastern German Marth main, multiple times in tournament. Inspired by Amsah & the other Dutch top players at the time Luma & him would play countless hours of Sheik ditos over the course of the first years of his inception into the scene.

In 2008 Luma & him invited the dutch top players Zgetto, Adam, Ninja & Faab to Berlin by getting them cheap deals on train tickets to the first tournament the two of them held in Berlin "Never gonna Smash you up" feat. Rick Astley, which eventually became the largest SSBM tournament in Germany up until this point.

Arround that time Ice also joined the Berlin local scene who then became MISTRRLOVEs main practice partner & teammate. As Ice dominatingly climbed the ranks all the way to number two, only losing to Luma, in a matter of months, MISTRRLOVE fell behind further & eventually became inactive from mid 2010, after hosting Berlin Calling, an 80 man international event, with Luma, up until early 2012. Before his absence however his performance at Smashfest-Köln² where he upset AE. & °de_gLory^ finishing 9th place, made him join his crew Gurkenschieß Faein alongside Luma, who got 2nd place at Smashfest-Köln². He has been ranked 15th on the Powerrankings of the German speaking countries (including Germany, Austria & Switzerland) in the process, before becoming inactive for the better part of the following two years.

When °UÇK announced OSmash #1 in early 2012 MISTRRLOVE eventually came back into the scene to travel around the country & competing again with mixed success. OSmash #1 also gave birth to the livestreaming at German smash tournaments, where he first got to commentate the streamed sets.

With 3 more installments to the OSmash tournament series & larger national tournaments such as Smash im Pott!, Witten Temptation & No Birds Allowed he eventually became the primer commentator for German smash tournaments. Having earned some sort of YouTube-fame for ZetTroxX' video "It's the hype pretty much", which comically spoofs a statement about the lack of hype at European tournaments compared to the US made by Ice, he had the chance to commentate at large international events like "Republic of Fighters #3" in Paris, "DrömmeLAN" in Oslo & "B.E.A.S.T 5" in Gothenburg.
