A (hopefully easy-to-read) map of all the stages and character options in the Subspace Emissary. Green nodes are "normal" sidescrolling segments, starbursts indicate boss battles, Subspace Army symbols show beat-'em-up battles, and red/blue triangles show that you can choose either side of the battle. Also, a black "aura" around a character means that they can't wear any stickers (because they aren't part of the team yet) for that stage.

Summary

A (hopefully easy-to-read) map of all the stages and character options in the Subspace Emissary. Green nodes are "normal" sidescrolling segments, starbursts indicate boss battles, Subspace Army symbols show beat-'em-up battles, and red/blue triangles show that you can choose either side of the battle. Also, a black "aura" around a character means that they can't wear any stickers (because they aren't part of the team yet) for that stage.

The characters displayed assume Peach is rescued from Petey. If Zelda is saved instead, then the Sea of Clouds becomes Kirby and Zelda, and the first battle at The Lake Shore becomes Mario and Pit vs. False Zelda.

After you defeat Tabuu you can unlock Jigglypuff, Toon Link and Wolf by re-visiting certain levels and dueling them.

Jigglypuff = The Swamp

Toon Link = The Forest

Wolf = The Ruins

On the Battleship Halberd Exterior & Battleship Halberd Bridge , Sheik is the primary selectable because Zelda transformed into Sheik, however, the transformation can be undone during the level.
