Ultra Sword is originally from ''{{s|wikirby|Kirby's Return to Dream Land}}'' as a "Super Ability", and Kirby gains this ability once he inhales a Super Blade Knight. This is an upgraded version of the regular Sword ability. When Kirby uses this power, he will wield one of the following: a sword, a meat cleaver, a cutlass, a wooden training sword, [[Meta Knight]]'s sword, a fan, or a large, blue fish. He will then swing the large sword in an arc that will deal massive damage to enemies who were hit and even destroy terrain. The slice that Kirby performs at the end of his Final Smash where his sword grows is a smaller version of the attack he uses against Magolor, the final boss.
Ultra Sword is a {{iw|wikirby|Super Ability}} from ''{{iw|wikirby|Kirby's Return to Dream Land}}''. Super Abilities are obtained by copying "Super" versions of enemies and expire upon finishing the level or its timer runs out. Ultra Sword specifically involves Kirby swinging a huge sword in front of him to deal uncountable damage to any enemies within range, though it can also randomly appear as a meat cleaver, a wooden training sword, a fan, Meta Knight's sword, or a large blue fish. Like all Super Abilities, it destroys terrain marked with star emblems and allows access to alternate dimensions where Sphere Doomers are found. Ultra Sword also appears in two boss battles, where it must be used to break the boss's shield and subsequently land the final hit; in these instances, the sword also grows larger just before the final strike, like it does in the Final Smash.

Template:Infobox Final Smash Ultra Sword (ウルトラソード, Urutorasōdo) is Kirby's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. 4. When activated, Kirby swings out his sword, slashes at an opponent, and slams him/her into the ground, dealing a maximum of 40% damage. This move is very similar to Ike's Great Aether.
