Template:Infobox Final Smash SSB4 The Poltergust 5000 (オバキューム Obakyūmu, Ghost Vacuum) is Luigi's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. 4, replacing Negative Zone from Brawl. It works similar to Cook Kirby, also from Brawl. When Luigi uses this move, he starts by trying to trap opponents and items close to him inside the vacuum. If any opponents are caught, they receive up to 30% damage before Luigi shoots them out upward, causing an additional 10% damage. Items will be produced as well. If no opponents are caught, the Final Smash will fail.

Description from the 3DS version's foldout

Vacuum up opponents, and send them flying.

Origin

The Poltergust 5000 in Dark Moon

The Poltergust 5000 debuted in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, where it was an upgrade of the Poltergust 3000 that was used in Luigi's Mansion for the Nintendo GameCube. It was found by Luigi in the Gloomy Manor inside a car. Luigi also needed to find the Strobulb and the Dark-Light to help him on his quest.
