Speed is the magnitude of a character's (or his or her attacks') velocity in the air or on the ground as measured in the Super Smash Bros. games. The term "speed" can refer to:
- Falling speed
- Air speed
- Dashing, measured as running speed.
- There are also rankings for walking speeds.
- Extreme Speed, Lucario's up special move in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. 4.
- Quick Attack, Pikachu's up special move in all four games, known in Japan as Lightning Speed.
- Hybrid Speed, a Melee player.
- Super Speed, one of Palutena's alternate side special moves.
- The Speed art, one of Shulk's Monado Arts.
