| The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
| When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Edits about graphical changes:
Hey Miles. I noticed you reverted my edit about Mario's design in this game. While I see your point in the edit summary, his model indeed DOES have brighter coloration, making it look more like his Melee model. You also said: "I thought we weren't covering minor visual changes here?" That also confuses me, because there are edits covering visual changes present on the other SSB4 character articles, such as these particular sectionss. SmashBall104: Landmaster Totaled. No idea how to add references

Alt as default image?
The image without the fireball seems to be used in-game on the character select screen, and has been shown pretty much everywhere that the fireball one otherwise would (such as Media:Mario Direct.png and the Smash Run screen pre 1 minute end battle). Should we change the one used on this page and the SSB4 character list template to the non-fireball one? ♡FirstaLasto♥ 01:50, 29 July 2014 (EDT)
