Disable Jump is a technique and glitch in Super Smash Bros. Melee. The technique can be done in Versus Mode. It involves Mewtwo and almost any other character.

How to Perform

The technique is best performed on stages with no platforms, such as Final Destination. Select Mewtwo from the character select screen in Versus Mode, and select another character. The technique works best with Ganondorf. Once the match is started, have Mewtwo next to the other character and have that character perform their Up Special Move. Immediately have Mewtwo perform Disable after that character is drawn upward when attack's frames appear. The timing of the frame-rate can be hard to dictate, but if performed correctly, the character will be sent high into the air, past the hoop. This technique does minor damage, and sends the opponent into helpless mode until falling.
