:::Since I'm the one who attempted to move the page in the first place, I think I should clarify why I decided to do so. I'll try to make this quick. During the development of Super Metroid, the Zoomer enemies from the original game were renamed Geemers. But the English localization team decided to keep the name Zoomer for the weaker ones, and call the stronger ones Geemers. This mistranslation also carried over into all translations of Metroid Prime. But as of Other M, both variations of the species are known as Geemers. The Smash Run enemies are based on their Other M appearance, and are (most importantly) called Geemers in the Tips section, clearing any doubt. So I obviously '''support''' this move. Geemer

In Super Metroid, there were purple Zoomers, so the color is not proof that these are Geemers. PikaSamus (talk) PikaSamus 10:16, 16 September 2014 (EDT)

Apparently, according to the tips, they are indeed Geemers. Berrenta (talk) 10:26, 16 September 2014 (EDT)

Since I'm the one who attempted to move the page in the first place, I think I should clarify why I decided to do so. So I obviously support this move. FateSystem (talk) 07:38, 24 September 2014 (EDT)
According to MetroidWiki, Geemers did not appear in Super, but only in the 3D games. I'm pretty sure both variations were called Zoomers outside of Japan until Prime called the stronger ones Geemers. PikaSamus (talk) PikaSamus 11:33, 24 September 2014 (EDT)
