:I have heard that this is a bug that occurs because the footstool doesn't launch ZSS into the air if it is used on Robin close to the ground for some reason. I guess it could be added, but with patches and the like, Nintendo will probably actually do something about it this time. Ghost Jump

Has anyone else experienced that "ghost jump" where you're "footstooled" but nothing happenes to you, and the other player just gets a major boost in hight? I can't find any mention of it on smashwiki, and I'm debating whether or not to start an article on it. 25T16File:HitboxEffect(Flame).png|20pxIt’s a me! 16:31, 23 October 2011 (EDT)

Simply, footstool jumps can't cancel attacks. So if another character is in an attack animation, footstooling them will give you the jump, but without the knocking them down effect. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 16:43, 23 October 2011 (EDT)

number of jumps

Why does it say you can footstool 2-6 times? I tested it on every character and I could do up to 4 jumps on everyone. Scr7Wolfsig.png 16:42, 2 July 2013 (EDT)

"on" everyone or "with" everyone? Characters that fall faster have a harder time getting consecutive footstools because as the jump gets weaker they fall below the footstool point faster than other characters. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Free 17:46, 2 July 2013 (EDT)
Oh, I just used Mario on everyone. Didn't release that falling speed affected it, thanks for verifying this. Scr7Wolfsig.png 04:24, 3 July 2013 (EDT)

Meteor smash or spike

Does the footstool jump actually function as a meteor smash and is recognised by the game as such? Or is technically a spike and can't be meteor cancelled? Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 10:47, 5 July 2013 (EDT)

While it's said to be a meteor smash on the website, I believe that in the technical sense it is neither a meteor nor a spike, since it puts you into a unique state instead of dealing proper knockback, and I don't think the per-character meteor cancel delay applies to it (could be wrong). Toomai Glittershine ??? The Altruistic 16:26, 5 July 2013 (EDT)
I agree with Toomai. It doesn't exactly produce knockback, it just makes the enemy fall down in a state that seems to be created just for it. Scr7Wolfsig.png 17:52, 5 July 2013 (EDT)

Infinite in SSB4 with ZSS?

Just wanted to mention that someone has posted a video online of a Footstool Infinite on Robin. I was wondering if it should be added to the article like the ROB Infinite that is already on the page. --204.106.251.214 17:34, 15 September 2014 (EDT)
