The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Ouch!
Well in any case, I do feel that I meet the requirements of notability. I have hosted 2 (soon to be 3 after next week) regional tournaments of 45+ people. I have consistently placed top 10 in Brawl tournaments, and cashed in multiple Melee and Brawl doubles events over notable players, such as Raynex and Unknown522 (this was of course a long time ago). That set was uploaded to youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6WEqvARiwY. I have also cashed in Brawl low tier events, defeated players such as Holynightmare, Kingkong, etc. But namedropping sucks so I should stop that lol. I can provide source for these wins if requested.
I have been featured in "Do The Mario 3", a Mario combo video created by the SWF Mario boards intended to display the best Mario players of the current metagame. You can watch that here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szwcl-fZt9g. Consequently, I also earned myself title of "Best Mario in Canada" (not self-proclaimed!), as decided by a panel of notable Canadian players from across Canada. Source: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=251942.
I also organize the Montreal Weeklies: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=90446. I am regarded as one of the leading organizers of the Montreal community.
In any case, I don't mind if I don't meet the requirements of notability. In the grand scheme of things, I really am a nobody. Then again, aren't we all? :P
In any case, if anything I'm only sad that my account was taken down over the likes of http://super-smash-bros.wikia.com/wiki/Smasher:Jub and http://super-smash-bros.wikia.com/wiki/Smasher:WolfKing for example. We've barely ever seen these guys!

Forums: Index Help desk Smasher Account

Hi there,

My name is ThatGuy, and I was wondering why my page "Smasher:ThatGuy" has disappeared and if I could possibly get it back? I used it for tournament reference purposes :(

The page was deleted as you weren't a notable enough smasher to merit a page on this wiki. Notability is defined by the notability policy. If you believe that you are in fact notable enough to merit a page, and you can back that up with evidence, we will be happy to restore the page for you. If you just want a copy of the contents of the page before it was deleted, click here. PenguinofDeath 21:02, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
