	I used Mario to unlock Ness, then '''Luigi''' to unlock Captain Falcon, then Pikachu to unlock Jigglypuff, and played through the 1P Mode with Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Yoshi, and Kirby in that order, and unlocked the Mushroom Kingdom '''without ever playing as Fox''' in the 1P Mode. This makes it hard to believe that one must play as the 8 starter characters in 1P mode to unlock the stage. I think that any 8 out of the full roster of 12 are eligible, including secret characters. I am using the North American cartridge version. Is this consistent with anyone else's experience?
