Crash Bomber is the side special move of Mega Man. This move functions very similarly to the Gooey Bomb, as it involves a small time bomb being shot out of Mega Man's buster. This bomb latches on the opponent and starts to beep. After about two seconds, the bomb blows up, sending the opponent flying diagonally. This bomb can be harmful back to Mega Man however. The bomb can be re-latched on a different opponent several times. The bomb can be stuck back onto Mega Man, hurting him in the process.

Origin

Crash Bomber first appeared as the special move of Crash Man in Mega Man 2. Crash Man would use the Crash Bomber only when he was attacked. The move would attach to Mega Man, and then explode for damage. However, he could be easily defeated by using the Air Shooter. The Crash Bomber was the weakness of Flash Man.
