The Poltergust 3000 Is a weapon of Luigi's, from the game series Luigi's Mansion. It has been confirmed to be a new move for Luigi in Super Smash Bros. 4. While its reveal screenshot shows Luigi with the glow from collecting a Smash Ball, it is unknown if the Poltergust is part of a new Final Smash, or a replacement for a different move as only the user's neutral special move is inaccessible during the glowing state.
Origin
The Poltergust 3000 is Luigi's weapon of choice when combating and capturing ghosts in the Luigi's Mansion series.
Trophy Description in Brawl
A vacuum cleaner developed by Professor Elvin Gadd of the E. Gadd Science Corporation. He gives it to Luigi, who uses it to trap ghosts in a haunted mansion after stunning them with his flashlight. It also absorbs elements like water, ice, or fire that it can then shoot out. An optional accessory to this fine product is a machine that converts the trapped ghosts into portraits.
