27 February 2014: Waluigi is confirmed to return as an Assist Trophy.
27 February 2014: Nintendo announces the termination of all online software services for all DS and Wii games on May 20th 2014. This means Brawl's wifi modes will no longer function on this date.
21 February 2014: Diddy Kong is confirmed to return in Super Smash Bros. 4, along with the Banana Peel.
18 February 2014: The Bottled Fairy is announced as a new item in the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. 4.
