- The Fairy in a Bottle is announced as a new item in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

- Little Mac is confirmed for Super Smash Bros. 4 as a newcomer. Along with his reveal, the boxing ring stage shown in previous trailers and screenshots was rebranded as a Punch-Out!! stage, and the stage is confirmed to be in the 3DS version as well.

- The Home-Run Bat is confirmed as a returning item in the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. 4.

- Mother Brain is confirmed as an Assist Trophy in the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. 4.
