:I'm not sure if the history will be coherent (since it takes place in different parts of the world), but I would like to see a blueprint of the thing before I support it. I have no clue about the competitive scene, so giving it a brief overview can be helpful for those that want to learn more. It seems kinda tricky to do in my opinion. The earliest start of competitive play that I know was Tournament Go. in Melee competitive play, while Smash 64 competitive play may have came later. Its nice to have a history of things but like you said, its either going to be for separate sections of each Smash game's history (which could be confusing for readers) or by chronological means (I prefer this method).
