And alive. Thank God. We found him just after 6 last night. It took a while to snap him out of it, but we suceeded. He should be back after a week or two of support. I have an idea. By the time 'Tripper returns, the Smash Arena will have finished the two fights in there. I'm thinking that I will ask Miles (or you) to put in one of Gutripper's suggested fights as a sort of welcome back. It will make him feel more comfortable. What do you think? All you have to do is request Miles to put a certain fight into the arena preparation. I was the one who reccomended Mewtwo vs. Lucario, and Gutripper did Fox v. You have three options

Well...2 1/2 really. Local or online...now I know you just said you don't have any local Brawlers to face, but you'd be suprised how many people you could get to sign up for a MELEE tournament...I mean it was the #1 best-selling Gamecube game of all time. That's what MJ and I are doing next month, hosting a Melee tournament and bringing Brawl up there to show to people. Hopefully if we do enough tournaments we can get people interested in competitive Smash, whether it's Melee, Brawl, or both (Melee's honestly got the better gameplay physics engine...). So your other option and a half? Online tourneys. Your first option would be to sign up for an All is Brawl account. I mean, that's THE place to find Brawl tournaments, both locally and online. Your other option would be to join your crew's proboards (if you're worried about your dad finding bad stuff on there I don't blame you...they have next to no censors. My board's WAAAY safer...) and do what we've started doing. Every Saturday night we have a tournament for all the forum members. This Saturday we only got 4 entrants (Wifi crashed anyways so we couldn't do it), next week we might get 8, who knows? I might host it on AiB too to get more entrants. Really, the trick is that if you can't find others that are hosting tournaments, you gotta step up and host one yourself. Not only that, but don't limit yourself to friends entering local tournaments. Search for some Connecticut players and find some way of inviting them to your tourneys. I can almost guarantee that if you get enough big names in your state to show up, more will follow suit. The world competition ends with you (btw, TWEWY, the game who's name I just ripped that idea from, is a ridiculously awesome DS game. Get it NOW.). Well the thing about Smashboards is that as opposed to learning through getting your butt whooped, you read to learn. It's not really meant to set up matches (especially since the Friend Finder is down...). So AiB=Opponents, whereas Smashboards=knowledge. Using both effectively is the best idea, but you could manage off of just one. Both have regional boards where you can find more people in your area who play Smash. I'm used to lag as well. I've brawled other people in the east coast and there wasn't that much of lag for me. It's only unless I brawl someone from Australia or England that I encounter lag. Sorry about the invite rejections...those were Absol's doings. He was wondering how you meteor smashed him and so he wanted me to demonstrate how it's done (him using Zelda and me using Falco).
