The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the Trn template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

:I know bringing up Melee Kirby is disruptive and banworthy, but what about the hitbox in his (Kirby's (SSBM)) forward smash that sends foes upward (it's also in Brawl, and it's a little stronger)? You could cover the properties of Dr. Mario's up smash and Samus's up tilt, both which do meteor damage to grounded opponents but regular damage to aerial opponents. I think it'd also be cool if someone could explain why Bowser's down throw in Melee doesn't damage Mr. Game & Watch or Jigglypuff. blue ninjakoopa 19:57, 1 July 2013 (EDT)

::Don't bring up any issues you have with others' view of Melee Kirby here, it's not at all relevant. But anyway, the upwards hitting hitbox in Kirby's f-smash is simply a sourspot on the later part of the move, that isn't difficult to land, and is a common property of many attacks. Dr. Mario's up smash could be done though, being the only spike that hits only grounded opponents. I'm iffy on Samus' up tilt though. Omega Tyrant 20:08, 1 July 2013 (EDT)

Forums: Index Watercooler New SmashWiki Youtube series: Unusual hitboxes

I'm going to be making a new video series for our Youtube channel, where I show off unusual hitboxes in attacks, and applications with them. Here's my current queue of ideas:

 • Aerial Warlock Punch (Brawl)
 • The horizontal hitting hitbox in Wolf's up smash (Brawl)
 • Eruption's meteor smash hitbox (Brawl)
 • Young Link's "Fire Spike" (Melee)
 • Roy's up smash spike (Melee)
 • Reverse OHKO Blazer (Melee)

So, does anyone have any ideas for other unusual hitboxes to cover? Toomai? Brian? Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 19:47, 1 July 2013 (EDT)

I know bringing up Melee Kirby is disruptive and banworthy, but what about the hitbox in his (Kirby's (SSBM)) forward smash that sends foes upward (it's also in Brawl, and it's a little stronger)? You could cover the properties of Dr. Mario's up smash and Samus's up tilt, both which do meteor damage to grounded opponents but regular damage to aerial opponents. I think it'd also be cool if someone could explain why Bowser's down throw in Melee doesn't damage Mr. Game & Watch or Jigglypuff. blue ninjakoopa 19:57, 1 July 2013 (EDT)
Don't bring up any issues you have with others' view of Melee Kirby here, it's not at all relevant. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 20:08, 1 July 2013 (EDT)
