There'd better be one...however, if we had to wait about 7 years (?) since Melee, we'll probably be waiting even longer. You need to take so many things in account: Characters, movesets, graphics, budget, copyright laws (in case of third-party, or people like Master Chief who are exclusive to non-Nintendo stuff) and other games in the making. I'll just wait for a new Nintendo console. - And it was also said that each Smash game was supposed to be made as if it were the last. It would shock and awe me if they thought a DS version would be last. More likely will be the addition of the N64 SSB on the Virtual Console.
