- If you mean "why does the article refer to him as a 'he'", then it's because Nintendo does. It's not like Pokemon, where Nintendo says "gender or no gender, Pokemon are 'it's". Yoshi is referred to as male in various sources. Toomai Glittershine

- I had a similar confusion when I was working on Yoshi (SSBM), and seems Yoshi is a "he". --HavocReaper'48 16:01, June 28, 2010 (UTC)
