'''June 2006''': Zantetsu began playing Super Smash Bros. Melee casually after finding it in a collection of games at a neighbors house. Seeing many memories, he decided to start playing the game again. On July 14th, Zantetsu began to figure out more about emulation and learned how to use Project64k and Kaillera to play the original Super Smash Bros. online. Zantetsu realized he was bad at the game when he played his first random opponent, Quickman!. After suffering a terrible defeat to the great Ness player, Zantetsu decided to learn more about the game and began to practice.
Zantetsu began his smash career, like most people, by playing casually with friends on the block and eventually stumbling upon competitive matches on YouTube, which began his competitive career in smash. Zantetsu began by playing SSB64 online via "Kaillera" since he lived in a community where no one else played competitive smash besides one of his friends. His SSB64 spree went from June 2006 until he started to slowly disappear around 2009. While he was mostly a SSB64 player from 2006 until 2009, he did play Melee with a friend and ended up becoming competitive in that as well and showed up to 2 tournaments, one which was a Brawl launch tournament in St. Louis and the other was Event 52 which featured players such as "Scar", "Mew2King", "Colbol", "Cactuar", and more..

'''July 2006''': Zantetsu found Wak's "Advance how to play" melee video. He started to practice everything in the video and began to try and implement it into both his Melee and SSB64 gameplay.
From 2009 until 2011, Zantetsu had retired from SSB64 due to lag issues and from Melee due to not having a community. In January of 2011, Zantetsu discovered "Zivilyn Bane", a smasher who originated from California and Kansas City. "Zivilyn Bane" contacted Zantetsu on Smashboards informing him that he lives in Springfield and is interested in forming a crew. Zantetsu and "Zivilyn Bane" decided to meet at a casual smash tournament and played many friendlies. Since then, Zantetsu and "Zivilyn Bane" have converted 3-5 players into competitive Melee players and have been quite active in the Missouri smash scene since and have even hosted a Midwest Regional Tournament known as Midwest Improvement Smash Tournament (MIST) in their once non-existent smash community. They plan to attend the upcoming FC-LEGACY tournament in July of 2012.

'''September 2006''': Zantetsu found a site called Smashboards which he was linked to by Nephiros. Zantetsu began to look around the Super Smash Bros 64 forums and learned about a lot of things. Around this time, he had mastered L canceling and started to combo.

'''June 2007''': Zantetsu began to be at a competitive level and started to be known by the community. He had also co founded the clan "Prophetic Tactics" with another competitive smasher known as "Peek".

'''March 2008''': Zantetsu attended his first smash tournament and placed around the middle. He also received an NTSC-U copy of brawl 3 days before release.

'''August 2008''': Prophetic Tactics closes. Zantetsu keeps smashing.

'''September 2008''': Zantetsu returns to school and starts to hang out with friends more. Zantetsu starts disappearing from SSB64 but plays Melee more then ever.

'''November 2008''': Zantetsu retires from SSB64 due to not having time to play it so much. He continues to teach 3 people in his area Melee.

'''March 2009''': Zantetsu becomes part of the Brawl+ community, while continuing to play melee.

'''June 2009''': Not playing either smash games much anymore, Zantetsu is still quite active in the Brawl+ community and his Youtube profile has gained a lot of attention to Brawl+ fans.
