Reflex is a smasher from Phenix City, Alabama. He gained local respect in melee by performing well with Bowser, and more recently has gained national respect for performing well in Brawl with Wario and Pokémon Trainer. Many consider him to be among the best Pokémon Trainer players in the United States.
His odd but charming demeanor and skill has made him a fan favorite among players in his area. Reflex's tendencies to act out the moves that his character is performing makes him very entertaining to watch. Usually, whoever is watching Reflex play a match ends up watching Reflex instead.
Although Reflex's technical skill is only decent, his proficiency at Smash stems from his ability to predict his opponent's moves, which he feels is essential for his playing style to excel.
Reflex is currently ranked as the #1 Brawl player in Alabama.
Reflex is also the creator of the "Lava Combo" which involves utilization of the acid on Brinstar in order to combo.
