| Birdo will appear on either side of the screen of the Mushroom: Kingdom II stage. It shoots three eggs from its mouth then exits on the side of the screen it came from. Any character that makes contact with the egg will take damage. The eggs can be [[shield]]ed, [[jumping|jumped]] on, and [[air grab]]bed. Sometimes [[item]]s come out of the eggs. It is possible to KO Birdo, but it will return to the stage later on. To KO Birdo, attack it with items and attacks. Birdo will flash the color blue when it takes damage. A few attacks will KO Birdo. No bonus points are rewarded for killing Birdo. Birdo's Egg can only be found in Kingdom II. When a Birdo appears on the stage and shoots eggs, they can be grabbed if timed right, and then thrown.
