Secure Digital (SD) cards are memory cards, commonly used for digital cameras. However, since it isn't compatible with any hard drives, they are the Wii's main mode of memory expansion. According to the Smash Bros. DOJO!!, snapshots, created stages and replays can be saved onto an SD Card.

The SD card is also used to transfer files from the computer that enable users to hack Brawl.
