Roy

Roy is the main protagonist from Fire Emblem 6. He only appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee. He was a clone of the other Fire Emblem character, Marth. He replaced another Fire Emblem character Sigurd, advertising his upcoming game. In Super Smash Bros. Melee, he is overall weaker and less agile than Marth, but heavier with stronger special moves. He also possesses a super-charged verson of Marth's Shield Breaker move, called Flare Blade. This move practically guarantees the player an instant K.O. (Roy does take some damage himself from the blast).

Special Moves

• B - Flare Blade (Capable of a one-hit K.O.)
• B → - Double-Edge Dance (Hit left or right and the B button quickly four times to execute a four-move slashing combo. Note: it's capable of performing a meteor smash)
• B ↑ - Blazer (A slower, but more powerful version of Marth's Dolphin Slash)
• B ↓ - Counter (If timed right, Roy will counter the opponent's attack with his sword)

Unlocking

Roy is a hidden character that can be unlocked by clearing Classic mode with Marth without using a continue, or by playing Vs. Mode more than 900 times.
