"Nolimar" refers to a fighting style in which you play as Olimar without using any Pikmin. This can actually be a great fighting style in the right hands.
Without using Pikmin, Olimar is limited to only eight moves: His Neutral A combo, his Forward Tilt, his Down Tilt, his Up Tilt, his Neutral Air, his Dash Attack, his Down Special, and his Final Smash. Even with only these 8 moves, Olimar can still KO opponents. His FTilt and DTilt have enough knockback to kill opponents with moderately high damage, and his Down Special can give him Super Armor if used at the right time.
