| I looked at the background characters page, and I'd like do Shy Guy for my next character, but in researching him, I can't really find anything special about him that I could use to translate into his moves. I really want to make some original characters that are in a different universe than one of the already present ones, or maybe a character from a universe with not as many characters, such as Samus' or Yoshi's.

| Birdo sounds like a great character to do after Rosalina. But right now, I'd like to concentrate on thinking of a moveset for her. I've looked at her page on MarioWiki, and I think that one of her special moves could be a force field, because she is shown in the games to be able to create one. Also, her picture shows her to have a star wand, so I'd like to incorporate that, and a few magic effects into her moves.
